WINNSBORO, Texas — An East Texas woman celebrated her 96th birthday in style with lobster and some pies and playing card games!

Cornelia Revell celebrated her big day doing the things she loves at Autumn Wind Senior Living in Winnsboro. She had her favorite meal of lobster and shrimp alfredo followed by lemon meringue and coconut meringue pies.

Then, a few friends joined her for card games, creating a day that reflected her interests.

"Seeing Ms. Revell spend time with friends and enjoy her favorite meal shows why these experiences are important," said Radonda Ellis, executive director at Autumn Wind Senior Living. "It gives her the chance to take part in activities she enjoys and share time with people who are important to her."
