AMES — The standard keeps evolving for Iowa State football , and it's no different on the recruiting trail.
Head coach Matt Campbell inked his highest-ranked recruiting class as part of early signing day on Dec. 3. The Cyclones' 2026 class came in at No. 48 nationally, according to 247 Sports.
Before this year's recruiting class, the 2020 class, which was ranked 49th in the country, was Campbell's previous high. That group was highlighted by Xavier Hutchinson, T.J. Tampa, Hunter Dekkers, Tyler Miller and J.R. Singleton.
