FARGO — Members of the Red River Valley SWAT Team will be training in Fargo and Hickson throughout the day Thursday, Dec. 4.
According to a release from the Fargo Police Department, training will happen from noon to 4 p.m. in the 50 block of Fourth Street North in downtown Fargo. From 4 p.m. to 9 p.m., officers will train in the 9600 block of 39th Street South in Fargo and the 100 block of First Street in Hickson.
People can expect to see SWAT Team members carrying firearms and hear loud noises and yelling, but no live rounds will be used, the release said. Anyone with concerns can call Red River Regional Dispatch at 701-451-7660 and ask to speak with a training facilitator.
Hickson is about 10 miles south of Fargo.
