SUMNER COUNTY, Tenn. (WSMV) - Travelers can expect interruptions on Interstate 65 starting Wednesday night in Sumner County.

The Tennessee Department of Transportation will have detours on the interstate in both directions and US 31 West will be closed.

TDOT will be doing construction on the new I-65 bridge there.

The closures are from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. Work is expected to be complete by December 8.
