STAFFORD TOWNSHIP, NJ — Morning traffic was brought to a standstill Wednesday after a Jeep Wrangler flipped in a violent two-vehicle crash at a major intersection, sending one man to a trauma center with severe injuries.
The collision occurred around 8:18 a.m. at the intersection of McKinley Avenue and General Grier Boulevard. According to investigators, a 2010 Dodge Journey driven by 32-year-old Jennifer Wilchak of Manahawkin was heading east on McKinley when she attempted a left turn across traffic. Her vehicle turned in front of an oncoming 2024 Jeep Wrangler driven by 67-year-old Fred Olita of Little Egg Harbor, resulting in a serious crash.
