Liam Fuller woke up to a barrage of messages from coaches.

Whether he liked it or not, the Bishop McDevitt tight end was back on the recruiting market.

“That was my alarm clock that day,” Fuller said.

With head coach Jim Mora Jr. departing UConn for Colorado State last week, Fuller, who had pledged to the Huskies in June, had to think fast. With just about a week before signing day, he had to determine where his future home was.

After a chat with head coach K.C. Keeler and visit to Philadelphia, the answer was clear: Fuller has signed with the Temple Owls, the school where his mom once starred on the basketball court, and the school where he hopes to fill big shoes in.
