The standout Nazareth Area High School quarterback signed with Penn State on Wednesday, ending a turbulent recruiting process that went down to the wire.
Falzone was verbally committed to Auburn University last week and attended the Tigers’ rivalry contest against Alabama on Saturday. Auburn, which fired head coach Hugh Freeze on Nov. 2, announced Sunday it was hiring South Florida boss Alex Golesh to fill the vacancy.
The Blue Eagles signal-caller met Golesh before trekking back to the Lehigh Valley. Monday, Falzone revealed that he was decommitting from Auburn.
