Nazareth Area High School quarterback Peyton Falzone was a surprise addition to Penn State’s 2026 recruiting class.
But the four-star prospect eventually signed with the Nittany Lions’ program after previously showing strong interest in Virginia Tech and Auburn.
Falzone made it clear he believes Penn State interim head coach Terry Smith should be the Lions’ next permanent head coach.
He discussed Smith’s impact in a video posted by Mark Wogenrich, the publisher of Penn State on SI.
“It’s an unknown situation,” said Falzone, referring to Penn State’s ongoing head coaching search.
“I try to figure out the head coach position. I’m very hopeful it’s Coach Smith. He’s a great guy and I think he can lead the team. He’s won the heart of my family, but he’s won the hearts of all the player
