SALT LAKE CITY — A wrong-way driver on U.S. 40 in Heber corrected his direction on Wednesday according to the Utah Highway Patrol, but crashed into the back of another vehicle. That crash, near Fitzgerald Rd., caused a chain reaction that impacted at least three vehicles.
Sgt. Mike Alexander with UHP said the suspect was hospitalized with injuries, but the nature of the injuries was unclear.
The UHP is investigating whether DUI was a factor in the crash.
