Following the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) bypoll election , the Aam Aadmi Party National Convenor Arvind Kejriwal congratulated his party candidates and also took a sharp jibe at the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). The BJP, although, swept the polls with 7 seats in contrast to AAP’s 3, it lost two seats. He also said that AAP is gaining ground after just ten months of losing power
Impressed with the verdict, Kejriwal wrote on X, “In this corporation by-election, this time the Aam Aadmi Party fielded its dedicated workers in the electoral arena, and the people of Delhi have made it clear through their mandate that the public support for Delhi is continuously strengthening towards the AAP.”
