A family who quit their jobs and packed up their kids to leave the UK due to the soaring cost of living said they are now unable to go back for Christmas to see their family and have been left 'heartbroken'

Billie Van Der Walt, 36, and her husband, Selwyn, also 36, from Atherton, in Wigan , are jetting across the globe with their two children and ditched Britain because it was more affordable than maintaining their life back in Ole Blighty.
