Due to a bomb threat, an IndiGo flight coming from Madinah in Saudi Arabia to Hyderabad in India was diverted to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport in Ahmedabad on Thursday. The aircraft has landed safely, and all the standard security and emergency protocols are presently being followed at the airport.

Protocol For Immediate Diversion And Security

The flight took off from Madinah and was bound for Hyderabad when the threat was relayed to the airline and aviation authorities. According to standard operating procedure in cases involving such a serious security threat, the aircraft was immediately diverted to the nearest safe airport.
