Every year, hundreds of teams across Delaware start the fall sports season with the ultimate goal of winning a state championship. And every year, only 13 squads finish the fall with a victory and a Delaware-shaped trophy.

With the fall sports season concluded in the First State, we take a look back at 25 of the many Delaware high school athletes who propelled their teams to deep postseason runs. The list showcases players who raised their game in opportune moments or sustained high levels of play throughout the entire season.
