Ajmer Dargah and the district Collectorate received a bomb threat on Thursday afternoon, triggering an extensive security operation. An email sent to the Collectorate warned that '4 RDX IEDs have been planted at Ajmer Kudankulam Nuclear Plant, the Collector’s Office and Dargah Garib Nawaz. The explosives will detonate as soon as Putin arrives.'
Police and intelligence teams immediately began a thorough search using metal detectors and dog squads. Employees present in various departments of the Collectorate complex were evacuated and checked. The Dargah premises were also cleared of visitors to facilitate the search. Teams from four police stations, along with specialised units including CID and ATS, are conducting the operation across the identified locations.
