TYSONS, Va. — Window washers trapped while working on the tallest building in Tysons were rescued by firefighters Thursday morning. A technical rescue team from Fairfax County Fire and Rescue Services was able to bring the two workers to safety.

According to the fire department, crews were called to Tysons Tower, located in the 7900 block of Tysons One Place around 10:30 a.m. for a report of a technical rescue. When crews arrived, they found two workers trapped on a malfunctioning window washing bucket.

According to the building's website , the office building is 22 stories tall.

Details about what led to the rescue have not been made public. No injuries were reported.
