CORALVILLE, Iowa (KCRG) - The driver in a dangerous semi crash this week says wearing a seatbelt saved his life.
The Iowa State Patrol shared an update on a crash from Monday evening in Coralville.
Iowa State Patrol says a semi-trailer truck ran off the I-80 bridge and fell onto Highway 6 while avoiding another crash along the interstate.
The driver walked away uninjured.
Both roads were blocked off for several hours as crews cleared the lanes.
Iowa State Patrol reminds drivers that seatbelts are “the difference between life and death.”
