Minister of State for Jal Shakti V Somanna said JK currently operates with 2 state-level labs, 20 district or regional labs and 76 block, sub-division or mobile testing labs to monitor drinking water quality under the Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM).
The ministry also said that the two state labs, 20 district or regional labs and 20 block-level labs are accredited—bringing the total number of certified labs in the Union Territory to 42.
