A North East dad has gone viral on TikTok after his festive pigs in blankets creation had 19,000 views. Craig Watson said he first came up with the idea a year ago and, in the run up to Christmas , decided it was time to test his theory.
The 44-year-old lays out pigs in blankets, around six chipolata sausages wrapped in bacon, in an escallop-shape. But as he's from Stockton, he gave it a Teesside twist.
After a stint in the oven, he tops it with traditional bechamel sauce and grilled cheese - reminiscent of a parmo. Naming it the Flying Parmo, 'because pigs can fly', Craig shared his creation on TikTok.
Teesside Live reports that the festive parmo video has been watched more than 19,000 times with Craig saying
