BRADENTON, Fla. ( WWSB ) — The Salvation Army of Manatee County is seeking volunteers for its Angel Tree Christmas Toy Shop, which will serve 1,461 children from 725 families this year.
The program runs Dec. 1-19 at The Salvation Army facility at 5328 24th Street East in Bradenton.
“This is one of the most meaningful projects we take on each year, and with the incredible size of this year’s need, your hands and hearts can make all the difference,” said Deral Pitts, director of community relations and development.

Volunteers can help with setting up the toy shop, sorting and organizing toys and gifts, and assisting families on distribution day.
