Sen. Jim Justice unveiled a new Almost Heaven Swing in his Washington office on Thursday, joined by students from the Nicholas County Career and Technical Center who built the handcrafted installation.
The swing is part of a statewide tourism initiative launched in 2022 to highlight West Virginia’s natural beauty and promote travel to the Mountain State. Justice said the swings have become a recognizable symbol across West Virginia, with each crafted by students participating in the program.
