AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) - A bullet was found on the floor in a classroom at Butler High School, according to a letter sent home to families Thursday.

Out of an abundance of caution, Richmond County School System police searched the students in the classroom, and no weapon was found, the letter states.

Officials say this incident was addressed by RCSS police in accordance with the Code of Student Conduct and Discipline.
