ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. — The St. Johns County Sheriff's Office announced Thursday night that two women are in life-threatening condition after a shooting on Lena Street in St. Augustine.

According to the St. Johns County Fire Rescue, the two women were taken by helicopter to a local trauma center. The sheriff's office says a person of interest has been taken into custody and there is a large law enforcement presence in the area.
