OCALA, Fla. — The Department of Justice announced on Thursday that an indictment has been unsealed for a suspect involved in an alleged Marion County bank robbery.
According to an arrest report by the Belleview Police Department, officers responded to a Truist Bank on Highway 484 on June 2, 2025, after a panic alarm had been activated. Upon arrival, police confirmed that a robbery had taken place.
Bank staff told police that a man had entered the bank at around 11:30 a.m. and gave a teller the following note:
"I have a gun. My partner will come inside and start shooting unless you follow instructions. $3,000 in loose bills in 1 minute. No alarms, no bait money, don’t say anything."
Police said that after receiving the money, which totaled up to $798.68, the man left the bank in a white
