GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — The Grand Rapids Police Department is asking for the public's help to find a missing man.
78-year-old James Barcus was last seen leaving the Kent County Veteran's Home on Monroe Ave NE on Thursday. Police said he may be experiencing memory loss issues and/or dementia.
Barcus does not have any family nearby or any other known locations he may have sought out in the Grand Rapids area, according to police.
Police described Barcus as a white man who walks with a hunched-over back. He was last seen wearing a blue jeans, an Army green jacket, and black winter cap. He left his glasses and cell phone at the Veterans Home.
