Syracuse, N.Y. — Wide receiver Calvin Russell’s signing with Syracuse on Thursday night was the last domino to fall in the Orange’s 26-player Class of 2026, meaning the team’s coaches are now free to turn their attention to the transfer portal.

While Fran Brown hopes the incoming class will be the foundation for the future, next year’s success will be much more closely tied to the experienced players that the Orange is able to bring in from other programs.
