A man was killed in a shooting in St. Paul on Thursday evening.
St. Paul PD says gunshots were reported around 9:15 p.m. on the 900 block of Edgerton Street in the Payne-Phalen neighborhood, with officers arriving to find a man suffering from a gunshot wound to his chest.
The man was taken by St. Paul fire medics to Regions Hospital, where he was pronounced dead a short time later.
No arrests have been made as of Friday morning, with no details on suspects of the circumstances of the shooting available at this time.
The man's identity will be released at a later time by the Ramsey County Medical Examiner’s Office.
It marks the 13th homicide in St. Paul so far in 2025.
