A stalker unleashed a deluge of abusive voice messages to his ex-partner's phone and repeatedly turned up at her home. The abuse left the victim considering whether to "end it all" after her ex boyfriend told her he would "watch her little world crumble".

Rhys Lewis, 33, stalked his partner between November, 2024, and April, 2025, after the breakdown of their relationship as a result of his "jealous and abusive behaviour". She had previously reported an assault to the police and it was at that point the defendant started stalking her.
