TV comedian and broadcaster Rob Beckett has opened up about his recent weekend in Coventry as he brought his tour Giraffe to the city.

While he praised the people and the football team, he did say one thing let the city down as he gave his honest opinion on the latest episode of his Parenting Hell podcast with Josh Widdicome.

"I spent three nights in Coventry - which is quite a long time to be in Coventry," he laughed. "Lovely people great, football team and stadium, great vibe - but not loads of hotel options."

Beckett went on to explain how he ended up 'on a blind date with a man' during his three day stay.
