Pat Fitzgerald won over another of Jonathan Smith’s recruits to keep him heading to Michigan State football.

This one is a big one. Literally and figuratively.

Four-star offensive lineman Collin Campbell reiterated his pledge and signed his Letter of Intent on Friday, Dec. 5, to become a Spartan next season.

The 6-foot-7, 280-pound Campbell visited MSU in late May and committed in June to play for Smith and offensive line coach Jim Michalczik. He was being heavily pursued by Utah and others before the early signing period, which started Wednesday and closes Friday.
