Coweta County Development Authority members heard at a meeting on Thursday that although eight projects were referred to the county in November, it was only able to submit potential properties for three.

The problem wasn’t that there aren’t properties available, but that some of the available properties are held up by site constraints, developer issues or government red tape.

“These numbers look great, but these numbers don’t necessarily reflect what we have a chance at,” said Sarah Jacobs, president of the CCDA. “But we definitely get interest.”

Jacobs said the county was not competitive for four of the projects.
