DOUGLAS COUNTY, Neb. —

A Lincoln man accused of resisting arrest in Omaha will go to trial.

Eric McGregor is charged with attempted first-degree assault on an officer and use of a deadly weapon to commit a felony.

According to court documents, a judge ruled that there was probable cause found and the case was bound over to district court for trial.

A charge of child enticement using an electronic communication device was dismissed without prejudice, according to court documents.

According to a criminal affidavit, McGregor lunged toward officers armed with a screwdriver when law enforcement was attempting to take him into custody.
