MIDDLETON, Wis. (WKOW) -- Middleton Business Saturday, an event meant to support the city's small businesses, is happening again this weekend after a snowstorm disrupted last Saturday's event. Businesses are gearing up for round two.
Normally, last weekend would have been one of the busier shopping days for small businesses in Middleton. Megan Samuel, a sales associate at Tradition Children's Cottage, says it's something she looks forward to each year.
"I love working Small Business Saturday, actually, because we get to see so many of our customers come in. We get to see some new faces."
But this year, the weather had other plans.
"It was definitely slower than most of our Small Business Saturdays," she said.
