[DUBUQUE, Iowa] — John Deere Dubuque Works is bringing creativity to its mile-long factory with a new mural. The factory, employing 3,000 workers and serving 2,600 customers annually, found inspiration in a blank wall on its factory floor.
Alex Fernandez, the factory manager, shared how the idea for the mural came to life. "So we came up with the idea of doing a mural and that idea became a reality," Fernandez said.
World-renowned Midwestern artist Greg Gossel was chosen to bring this vision to fruition. Gossel, known for his work with companies such as Hyundai, Levi's, and American Express, expressed excitement about the project.
