COLUMBUS, Ohio — Even with the Buckeyes playing 200 miles away in Indianapolis, Ohio State students say campus will feel like a home game environment when the team takes the field Saturday for the Big Ten Championship .
“You can still feel the game day energy like it was a home game even if it’s away,” freshman Emma Stalfort told 10TV on Friday evening.
Students say the excitement comes not only from the undefeated season, but from the historic implications of Saturday’s matchup against Indiana, a fellow undefeated team.
“Because Ohio State hasn’t won the Big Ten in like five years, I think this is kind of the chance for a historic opportunity,” junior Jack Meyer said. “I think everyone knows too, Indiana is the second-best team in the country, so this is going to be a fantastic match
