LONE STAR, Texas — An elderly woman and a police officer were recently attacked by the same dog in East Texas.

According to the Lone Star Police Department, a pit bull named Drama attacked an elderly woman on Nov. 12 in the 200 block of San Jacinto Street, causing her to go to the hospital. The woman told police she saw an electric wire running from her house to the neighbor's house, which is where the dog lived.

The woman said to police that went to take pictures of the wire and the dog attacked her.

Lone Star police officers tried to contact the dog's owner, but she could not be located despite multiple efforts. Then, on Wednesday, Dec. 3, an officer went to the address where the dog live to find the owner, but the officer was attacked, police said.
