LEWISBURG, Pa. — Downtown Lewisburg was filled with holiday cheer and eager shoppers on Friday night.

Folks were buzzing in and out of the small businesses on Market Street for some late-night shopping under a canopy of Christmas decorations.

It's organized every year by the Lewisburg Downtown Partnership to usher in the holidays.

"It helps our town thrive, and it really has created a lot of momentum," said Lynne Ragusea. "This has been going on for many years; in fact, I can't even tell you how many years it's beyond my tenure here. Late night shoppings been going on a long time and people look forward to it all season long."

The Miracle on Market Street event series will continue through the new year here in Lewisburg.
