In 2025, there was a role reversal. It was the Crusaders holding the previous state title win over Roman Catholic. And it was the Cahillites that came out with a fiery surge, as the District 12 budding power was in control all Friday night in a 28-6 5A state championship win over Bishop McDevitt.
