Michael Belvin scored a career-high 32 points over three quarters in Woodland’s 79-58 home victory over Kalama on Friday in non-league boys basketball action.
The junior had 18 of his 32-points as part of a 26-point second quarter for the Beavers, who led by as many as 33 points at 70-37.
“He just couldn’t miss anything,” Woodland coach Justin Gabbard said of Belvin. “Very proud of him. We played a complete game tonight. Still not where we want to be, but we’re continuing to climb.”
Dyrian McPoland added 15 points and Jackson Gabbard had 13 points and dished out 10 assists. The Beavers shot 41 percent from 3-point range (11 of 27).
