Doda, Dec 05: Police have registered an FIR against a serving police officer for alleged assault and unlawful restraint, asserting that no individual within the force is above the law.

Acting on the complaint, Police Station Doda registered FIR under relevant sections of law and initiated an investigation.

Anzar Majid Malik lodged a police complaint, stating that Assistant Sub Inspector (ASI) Mohd Maqbool Dar assaulted and wrongfully restrained him.
