Officers with the Sector 43 Crime Branch of the Gurgaon police arrested four people allegedly involved in stealing car tyres from vehicles parked outside various hotels and other places Friday night. The gang had been active for the last three months.
The accused, all currently residing at Jharsa village in the city, have been identified as Rishikesh from Jharsa village in Gurgaon, Arjun, a native of Siwana in Jhajjar; Piyush Rana, who hails from Jodhpur near Panchvati, Palwal, and Tushar Kumar, son of Pawan Kumar, a native of Munger in Bihar.
The four were arrested from Sector-49 by a team led by Inspector Narendra Kumar Sharma following a tip-off. During interrogation, the accused confessed to least 14 tyre theft incidents in Gurgaon. They will be produced before a court on Saturday, w
