Police tape has been wrapped around a car on a Stoke-on-Trent rat-run. Pictures from the scene show a red BMW in a ditch by the side of Redhills Road.

The car appears to have been travelling from the Birches Head Road end of Redhills Road and towards Foxley Lane, in Milton. Residents had reported the car in the ditch yesterday.

StokeonTrentLive has approached Staffordshire Police for a statement regarding the stricken vehicle. Any witnesses can call the police on 101.
