Urgent search for woman, 79, last seen with her walking stick near university

An urgent search has been launched for a missing 79-year-old woman.

Jill Grint was last seen yesterday morning in Earlham, Norwich, at 10.30am.

Detectives have released CCTV imagery of her last known whereabouts.

They have also deployed police dogs, a drone team and a helicopter.

Norfolk Police said: ‘Police searching for a missing 79-year-old woman in Norwich have released new images captured on a doorbell camera.

‘The images show Jill wearing different clothing to what had been initially reported.

‘She is wearing a blue coat, navy trousers, navy trainers and carrying what appears to be a yellow bag. Jill, who has shoulder-length grey hair, is using her walking stick. ‘Officers have been carrying our searches since this afternoon when Jill was reported missing.
