President of Russia Vladimir Putin was on a two-day official visit to India from 4 to 5 December 2025, at the invitation of Prime Minister (PM) Narendra Modi, to attend the 23rd India–Russia Annual Summit.
The visit marks the 25th anniversary of the India-Russia Strategic Partnership, which was established in 2000.
