THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Rahul Easwar, who was arrested for cyber-harassing the woman who had filed a sexual harassment complaint against MLA Rahul Mamkootathil, has been denied bail. The petition was considered by the Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate's Court. Rahul Easwar has been in jail for the past seven days. Rahul had withdrawn his bail application filed in the District Sessions Court.

Rahul Easwar's lawyer argued in the court that he had only read the FIR video of the Rahul Mamkootathil case. Rahul Easwar argued that the information in his posts is from the police FIR and that he has not done anything illegal.
