RAICHUR: The warden of the Dr B R Ambedkar Residential School at Udamagal-Khanapura, in the district has been accused of assaulting students for asking for notebooks and pens. The students and parents allege that the warden, along with other teachers and staff, has been physically abusing the children without reason.
The school has 125 students from grades 1 to 5, and the parents are demanding improvements in the facilities, including access to clean drinking water, laundry services, and protection for the children. The parents claim that the warden is trying to deflect the allegations, stating that the complaints are motivated and that they are working to improve the facilities.
