After three days and 18 signees, Alex Golesh’s first roster building task as Auburn’s head coach is complete.

The 2026 class is smaller and ranked lower than a typical Auburn signing class, but that’s to be expected in a transition year. The Tigers were expecting to sign a small class even before Hugh Freeze was fired and Golesh was hired, and the change led to more attrition.

With 18 total signees, Auburn’s class ranks 41st nationally in 247Sports’ team recruiting rankings and 46th in On3’s. However, it makes up just one piece of the roster building puzzle for Golesh and the staff this offseason.
