A Bedworth film director told a private investigator to place a tracker on his ex-girlfriend’s new partner’s car. Kevin Proctor was in a relationship with Hollyoaks actress Nicola Holt, but it later turned ‘toxic’, a court heard.

After they broke up, the actress, who has also appeared in Emmerdale, checked a car she had access to, which belonged to her now-partner, and found a small black tracking device behind the number plate, prosecutor Olivia Davin told Manchester Magistrates Court.

Proctor admitted stalking and was fined £300, Manchester Evening News reports . Since being charged, he has moved in with his parents in Bedworth and is undertaking 'menial work' in a freezer factory, a court heard.
