FRANKLIN COUNTY, Fla. (WCTV) - The Florida Department of Health has issued a red tide caution for Franklin County and is asking residents to stay out of the water.

The red tide caution was issued after the presence of a red tide was found near Goose Island, which is north of the entrance to St. George Island State Park, per the release. According to the press release, the Florida DOH took a water sample on December 3.
