SARASOTA, Fla. ( WWSB ) - The Manatee County Sheriff’s Office recognized deputies, employees, and volunteers at their annual ceremony for going above and beyond the call of duty and putting others ahead of themselves.

The department presented the Employee of the Year, Deputy of the Year, Humanitarian Award, and additional Deputy of the Year recognition during the ceremony as 2025 comes to a close.

Sheriff Rick Wells recognized, recipients for their unwavering dedication to serve this year, with stories of strength and community shared throughout the event.
