The Los Angeles Lakers hugely missed their star guard Luka Doncic last night as they lost 126-105 against their bitter rivals, the Boston Celtics. This was the second straight game that the Slovenian missed after his impressive start to the 2025-26 campaign. However, it wasn’t related to an injury and was instead due to a personal reason.

That reason turned out to be with his fiancée, Anamaria Goltes, for the birth of their second daughter, Olivia, whom the Lakers star introduced to the world only recently. However, now, after celebrating the birth of his second child with his family and friends in Ljubljana, Slovenia, Doncic is headed back to the States for the upcoming games.
